Community Development Programme in Hadareni

Following the Decision no. 1/2005 of the European Court of Human Rights – amiable solution - in the case of Moldovan and others against Romania, the Romanian Government in cooperation with UNDP has initiated a community development programme in Hadareni village, Mures county.

The aim of the programme is to increase community cohesion between Roma, Hungarians and Romanian citizens of the village by creating local organizational capacity, promoting civic education, initiating and developing dialogue between ethnic and religious groups, enhancing economic development.
